Let me just tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I say I have a family of 6 and by that I mean I have 2 dogs 1 of which sheds like crazy and the other is a long hair shih tzu with white hair, 1 cat, a messy husband that hates cleaning, and an infant! I mention the dogs because my "shedder" is a 160 pd mastiff that before this product I had a hard time keeping the house clean! I've bought 8 different mops to try to find one that would pick up the DOG HAIR that the broom missed but was never able to find one, until now! The vacuum is great on hard floors (picks up everything dog hair included) just don't expect it to work on a rug. I never thought it would so it didn't bother me. However, I did find it works on my kitchen rugs. My shih tzu is very hard to keep white so with this mop I am able to clean a lot more often because of the convenience of it. Then I have my cat who loves to leave me hair ball presents in the morning which is no match for my SHARK!My husband is not much of a cleaning like most. I have been able to get him to vacuum and mop with this SHARK so that in itself is a seller for me. haha He always tells me that it's very fast and easy so he doesn't mind doing it. I have to agree, it takes me about 15 minutes to do my whole house which is about 1700 square feet.The most important and the biggest reason I bought this was because of my infant. He just started crawling and even before that I knew I wanted to stop using chemicals. Don't think I'm by any means the all organic type of gal 'cuz I'm not, but I don't want my baby crawling on a floor I cleaned with bleach then him putting his little fingers in his mouth. I know I never have to use another chemical on the floor, and they are just as clean if not cleaner! No nasty fumes, floral scents, or having to mix. Just add water and 30 seconds later I'm steaming! I would be the first one to do an infomercial for this product! If you can't tell already I love it and suggest it to everyone and anyone! Whether you have pets, babies, need something LIGHT and easy, or whatever it's amazing!

I Like this vacuum ,it vacuums then steams. The vacuum does it's job but for me I still have to sweep a little after i vacuum because there might be little bits of debris that might be left over but as i said before it does its job, as for the steam it steams well 10oz of water isn't enough if you have more than the kitchen floors to clean. I like the fact that the micro fiber is machine washable. All in all it's good had for 2 months and so far so good bought mines at my local BJ's outlet.

Love this product! I was looking for something to replace my Swiffer vac/ wet jet and opted for this, which does the job of both. The only reason I didn't give this a full five stars is the vaccum is very loud and I have to refill the water about halfway through the job (I have a 2,100 sq ft house and 95% of the downstairs is vinyl/ hardwood). Otherwise, it gets all of the dirt up and the steam cleans very well (as well or better than the swiffer system). It's easy enough to push around. Love that I no longer have to buy the swiffer pads and refills, which can get costly!

I have used this machine for about 1mo ad don't feel I could live withou it. It works beautifully on all hard surfaces, although I would not use it on hard-wood.

I have wood floors through out my house plus a dog. Vacuum setting works well on pet hair on the wood floor. Vacuum is not made for rugs and does poor job on throw rugs. That is expected as it is designed for hard surface floors. After vacuum then set to steam. Steam varies from high to low so you have to pace yourself as you clean. Does nice job on wood and also stone. Other things I like are the long cord and do not have to hold trigger down when using. Separate on/off button for vacuum and another for steam (can't turn both on at same time) Extra steam pads are big plus. Still using the first one as you can wash the steam pad in washing machine.

This product is all that it claims. What I love about it is how fast I can clean the kitchen floor. If I notice it looks awful and have less than 10 minutes - no problem. It is shiny and beautiful and I am on my way.

I have been looking for a product that would remove dirt and clean floors. I have an upstairs studio/office with hardwood floors. After much research I ordered the Shark and have found it to surpass my expectations. I liked my results so well I used it downstairs in my entire house. All the wood foors shined and the tile floors cleaned up easily. The unit is lightweight so carrying it up and down stairs was easy. I recommend this unit highly.

As advertised the Shark 2-in-1 Vac-Then-Steam can be used on sealed hard floors such as hardwood, linoleum, tile, marble and stone. This review includes using this product on hardwood floors and on (sealed) brick floors. Model MV2010CO comes with four (4) heavy duty and four (4) all purpose micro-fiber steam pads. The all purpose pad on an uneven, brick floor works better than the heavy duty pads. The heavy duty pad is thicker and does not 'glide' over an uneven floor, when steaming, as easily. And you will know, when it is time to change (and clean) the steam pad because you won't get as much steam. Also, you want to remember to place the Shark Vac-Then-Steam on the storage tray when you have just finished steaming your floors... otherwise, the heat 'will' mar your floor. Ordinary tap water is all you need to steam the floors - no (harsh) chemicals to continually purchase to steam clean your floors. If you have hard water it is recommended that you use distilled water. Purchased this item with eight (8) cleaning pads - Model MV2010CO - NOT at Amazon but at a local warehouse saving $$$. The other Shark 2-in-1 Vac to Steam models available at Amazon do NOT have the eight (8) extra micro-fiber steam pads. Nor do they come with the extra dustcup filter or the post-motor filter. Or have the extra long 30 foot cord. I have hardwood floors and tile floors. I had several different products and mops to keep my floors clean. I bought this and have thrown all the others away. First of all the vaccum is great. It can't suck up large items but will get the rest. Its great for the fine dust that never seems to be caught. This vaccum Does catch it. The steamer, Is amazing even though I thought I had kept my floors clean I realized I hadn't. I've not had to buy floor cleaner since I bought this steamer. A cup of water cleans my kitchen, bathroom hallway, bedrooms and Laundry room. So easy. For really stuck or sticky messes leaving it on for just a minute gets it up. There is no residue on the floor, which is great since I have small children. It dries almost instantly. Leaving my floors clean, shiny, and disinfected. LOVE it. I recommend this to everyone!!!.
